The Wild Links

19″(48cm) x 23″(58cm)  – oil on canvas – measurements include the frame.

Another really gorgeous oil painting by West Clare artist, Pauline Dunleavy, which brings you up close and personal with the evening setting sun on the Links Course in Doonbeg, West Clare. The rich and warm colour palette used by this well known contemporary artist, and her use of light and shade and general composition is beautifully handled.

Pauline, who runs a busy craft shop, teaches classes and takes part in many community voluntary capacities in Clare, likes to spend her free time walking in the countryside and drawing her inspiration from her extraordinary surroundings. Her art work has been exhibited in Clare for many years and has become rather collectable.
