Greek Mythology Bronze
by Arturas Karabanovas

18.5cm Height x 9cm Width / 7.3" x 3.5" Width

7.5 inches tall (19cm) and sitting on a square stone (cube) base of about 2.5 inches square (6cm sq)

Inspired by the shapes, colours and movements associated with Greek Mythological Sea Creatures, the artist, Arturas, has produced this almost serpent-like sculptural object in bronze.  At only 7.5 inches tall including the base,  this is a rather small and interesting piece, cast in bronze by the artist himself. Considering its both beautiful and unusual attributes, it appears to be somewhat of a ‘terrible beauty’; an oxymoron of sorts.  This would make a most interesting little piece to include in your art collection by an artist whose work is fast ascending the ladder of professional Irish art.
