The squeals, oohs and aahs were audible around the gallery when these adorable sculptures arrived. Cast in bronze, there was the rather distinctive whippet pup (this one) and also its proud mammy (a larger, taller and heavier piece in similar format) It is safe to say that all the team (and all who were in the building at the time) fell heavily and instantly in love with them. This one, the pup, is a fully 3-dimensional piece and is a sight to behold. With its tilted face, cocked whippet ears and stunningly cute stance, you just want to immediately bring him home with you. Another fabulous Connolly piece, sculpted and cast in his own foundries here in West Clare, it is clear that Seamus himself is an animal lover as he never fails to bring his heart out in these gorgeously stylized sculptures.

‘Seamus Connolly is also Ireland’s leading bronze portrait sculptor, with commemorative lifesize statues dotted around the country – thus making his small pieces infinitely more collectable’

Your shipping choice explained.

For uninsured shipping, (or shipping insured to the value of €100) we use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination. Please note that this option would be at your own risk.

However, as we are aware, accidents can happen and so, taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an Art Handler, then this can be arranged.

For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (location dependent)

For paintings or items falling outside of those dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it.
