Known for his animal sculptures, and in particular his previous edition of boxy rams and two dimensional hares, this gorgeous piece is a new stylised sheep by renowned Irish sculptor Seamus Connolly – and is a unique piece. With wavy polished bronze detailing along what would be the animals wool coat, and gorgeous polished edging around the horns and face, this is an absolutely adorable piece of sculpture, sculpted and cast by the artist himself here in his studios in Kilbaha.

Seamus is renowned for his life size public commemorative sculptures, dotted around the country, from playwrights to actors to sports heroes. One of Ireland’s foremost portrait sculptors, Connolly’s work is ridiculously collectable.

 Your Shipping Choices Explained

NOTE: Due to Covid 19 areas are experiencing delays and some restrictions on deliveries – please enquire directly with us if you are concerned.

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination.  This option would be at your own risk.

We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)

Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged.  For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
