Bronze Ram

Fans and collectors of Seamus Connolly’s work, will remember the boxy sheep series he did. A hugely popular edition of sheep sculptures that sold out rather quickly and indeed sold internationally as well as here at home. Gorgeously characterful, this bronze Ram is the first in a new edition of boxy RAMS, this time made, even more, individual with tilted heads and magnificent horns. With a striking deep, dark blue patina underneath, the wool of this Ram is shined up in beautiful bronze patches all over this superb piece of original bronze.

Connolly is one of Ireland’s leading portrait sculptors with commemorative lifesize statues dotted all over Ireland, as well as of course, being well known for his stylized bronze animals.
