Approx 25″(64cm) tall x 14.5″(37cm) in width taken at the widest part of the base – on stone base

This rather quirky hare, sculpted and cast into bronze, with a dark layered blue and grey patina, makes for a very impactful and fun piece of art to own. Standing rather tall at approximately 25″, he really is a talking point piece. Sculpted by Seamus Connolly here in his own studios and bronze foundry in Kilbaha – one of his signature stylized bronze animals. Connolly is busy creating life-size commemorative statues for various committees around the country, so these little stylized pieces are few and far between right now!

Collectable artwork – bronze hare – stone base – heavy piece – quirky – talking point – stylized work –

 Your Shipping Choices Explained

NOTE: Due to Covid 19 areas are experiencing delays and some restrictions on deliveries – please enquire directly with us if you are concerned.

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination.  This option would be at your own risk.

We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)

Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged.  For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
