This beautiful oil painting by West Clare artist, Pauline Dunleavy, draws you right into this late summer meadow scene. The smattering of hay bales, drying in the summer sunshine, the home comfort of the farmhouse in the distance and the rich and warm colour palette used by the artist, all somehow brings a warm, fuzzy feeling to the pit of your belly as you can imagine yourself stood right there; inhaling the scent of freshly cut fields.

Pauline, who runs a busy craft shop, teaches classes and takes part in many community voluntary capacities in Clare, likes to spend her free time walking in the countryside and drawing her inspiration from her extraordinary surroundings. Her art work has been exhibited in Clare for many years and has become rather collectable.

 Your Shipping Choices Explained

NOTE: Due to Covid 19 areas are experiencing delays and some restrictions on deliveries – please enquire directly with us if you are concerned.

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination.  This option would be at your own risk.

We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)

Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged.  For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
