Another totally arresting sculpture by the artist Adil Vezir. Sculpted and cast here in Clare, this truly mesmerizing piece is of a windswept beauty; a lady strongly connected with the sea, the Atlantic, the Coast; her dark patina is strikingly strong, has amazing depth and is expertly applied. Adil’s eye for detail and structure is evident, as this particular piece looks slightly different from every angle and also is placed on a stone base in such a way as though it appears to be almost floating. This is the kind of sculpture that would stand proudly on a plinth or console table in any grand entrance or foyer.
