The effects of the moon on our tidal patterns are well documented but never as beautifully and delicately depicted as here in oil and cold wax by artist Gillian Murphy. We fell head over heels in love with this abstract piece; the artist’s interpretation of a waxing gibbous moon (moving from a semi-circle moon, to a full moon) and the effects this particular moon has on the tide, delightfully interesting and draws you straight in. It is different and delicate and although gentle in colour palette, is wonderfully striking on the wall.

Your Shipping Choices Explained

Due to Covid 19 – Some areas are experiencing restrictions and delays of deliveries. Please enquire directly with us if you are concerned.

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination. This option would be at your own risk.
We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)
Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged. For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.
For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
