Another truly beautiful piece by contemporary artist, Vincent Killowry. You can feel yourself standing there, in that normally busy shipyard, quiet now, as evening falls; bathed in that gorgeous evening light, which casts a warm glow and reflects glimmers of light from the many tiny rivers of water in the sand below.

Killowry, artist, art teacher, and an illustrator, is particularly famous for being the artist responsible for painting many of the national heritage stamps with An Post. He is also responsible for the simply extraordinary, murals, at the Foynes Flying Boat and Martime Museum. Killowry is a super collectable artist and has work hanging in many private collections across Ireland and abroad.
