Having spent some time sculpting pieces that were associated with nature, the wilderness, the earths life cycle and indeed how all of that often interacted with our ancient mythology, Adam has turned his attention to the water with this beautiful and elegant Mermaid statue in bronze.

This piece is one of a pair of original sculptures, one large and one smaller, by artist Adam Pomeroy. This piece is the smaller of the two – at 15.5″ in height – Cast into bronze, it is an aesthetically beautiful piece, is patinated in a gentle layered blue/green colour, and is mounted on a natural stone base.

Adam Pomeroy is a supremely collectable artist who produces rather remarkable oil paintings as well as his beautiful sculptures. Adam has a series of biblical themed paintings, hanging in Cathedrals throughout Ireland, along with many pieces of his work entering both private and public collections nationally and internationally.
