We were thrilled to have secured the work of contemporary artist Mary Rose Keane, whose work has not only begun gaining much traction amongst lovers of art, but also has been making waves in the world of interior design. It’s no wonder that this particular painting, Resonance of the Enigmatic Woods, was chosen to appear in a recent issue of ‘Irelands Home Interiors and Living ‘ Magazine as it imbues an instant feeling of awe, calm and wonderment.

Mary Rose manages to achieve an ethereal, almost spiritual, sense, through this piece of art. The feeling of being there in that moment in nature, where the woods kind of mysteriously emerge from the mist that hangs over the landscape. Beautiful wildflowers delicately dot the foreground and the overall feeling from this painting is one of serenity. This piece is slightly over a metre x metre and is incredibly impressive hanging.

Mary Rose is fascinated by how a piece can impact the physical space it hangs in – and she uses everything in her artistic being to ensure that each pieces stirs something within the viewer; be it a feeling, a sentiment or an emotion.
