Ruth Wood is one of Clare’s most established and celebrated artists. Perhaps best known for her striking pen & ink and watercolour paintings of buildings and landscapes. This is a gorgeous and delicate depiction of the view as you come down the famous Moyarta Hill, on your way into Carrigaholt village, on the Loop Head Peninsula. With Carrigaholt Castle visible in the background, this view is super meaningful to this artist, as one of her favourite villages, where both the people and the place have left an indelible mark on her heart.
