Lunar Calendar 2026 – Cream

For all the moon lovers out there – the Lunar Calendar returns for 2026, only this time, also in Irish!

Having this annual calendar on display is a wonderful way to connect with the moon, learn cúpla focal and brighten up your home!

Each print outlines the 2026 moon phases, month by month!  You can also find a key to the moon phases in Irish + English in the lower section of the art print.

This is an A3 (297mm x 420mm) gold ink risograph print and it is printed here in Ireland with eco-friendly vegetable ink.

The artwork features a large central moon accented by native flora and fauna either side, these being honeybees which are dancing between clover and heather. Each print is illustrated and designed by Kerry Eugenie Prendiville, an Irish artist living on the rugged coast of Co. Clare.

This year’s design honours and remembers the life, work and legacy of the late Manchán Magan. In the wake of his passing, Manchán’s magical presence has been likened to that of a honeybee. Manchán spent his life roaming and pollinating ideas by connecting people with land, folklore and language.

Thanks to luminaries like Manchán whose passion has inspired collective action, there is a palpable sense of revival and pride for our native language and culture. This new energy is enriched by storytelling and using our cúpla focal in daily conversation and that’s why this year’s design is now bilingual, Gaeilge + English, in that very order. This is for you Manchán. Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís.

10% of the proceeds from this  will be donated to Hometree, a nature restoration, nursery and native tree planting charity based in the West of Ireland.
