This is an extraordinary painting in oils of the ariel view of the Loop Head Peninsula, West Clare. A beautifully impressive painting, the vivid colour palette and gorgeous palette knife work, really stop you in your tracks. It looks incredible hanging.  The large sea stack off the edge of Loop Head, is called Sampson’s Island (named after one of the original lighthouse keepers) and sits alongside the headland. This aerial vantage point really takes in the beauty and sheer scale of this sprawling headland.
