‘The Last Daffodils’ is a gorgeous, emotive oil on board by this accomplished artist. Picking the last few daffodils of Spring and enjoying their final bursts of colour, alive and blooming in the vase, is uplifting and wonderful. The contrast achieved by Bairbre Duggan, of the varying shades of yellow, against the dark background works so beautifully.

Bairbre is an accomplished artist, whose work has been shortlisted for the Dutch Portraiture Prize and chosen to appear in the RHA  annual exhibitions. Lecturing in fine art in Amsterdam, her skilful figurative paintings and her still life works are hanging in private collections around the world.
