At the point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the mouth of the River Shannon, the Loop Head Peninsula is surrounded on three sides by water and has a wonderful rugged and geologically rare coastline including many extraordinary cliff walks. This painting depicts the cliff walks at Kilkee, from an aerial vantage point, beautifully painted in oils by David Coyne.
