Those of us familiar with Padraig’s work will already know of his fascination, not just with the vernacular architecture of the West of Ireland, but also with the majestic sheep and Rams that populate the hills around Mayo, Achill and the surrounding areas. He captures their interest perfectly. This particular painting is slightly smaller than the others in our current collection, measuring at a comfortable 50cm x 50cm squared including the frame. Perfect size and a great price point.

Padraig McCaul’s striking art work has the ability to complement any art collection …and indeed has already earned its place in the collections of many discerning art buyers across the country and beyond.

‘’But it’s the west of Ireland landscapes in particular that I’m drawn to. To me they are what Ireland is all about, and there is an energy and a sense of timelessness in them that I try to get across in my paintings’’.. Padraig McCaul

Your shipping choice explained.

For uninsured shipping, (or shipping insured to the value of €100) we use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination. Please note that this option would be at your own risk.

However, as we are aware, accidents can happen and so, taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an Art Handler, then this can be arranged.

For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €65 – all the way up to €335 (location dependent)

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
