A striking original oil on canvas painting by Padraig McCaul, depicting the family settling right now; certainly in these unusual and rather scary times, we are all in this together – and as family units, we are particularly thrust into togetherness now more than ever. McCaul is famous for his West of Ireland landscapes and cottages. He is also really well known for his family scenes – but perhaps the most recognisable element with Padraig is the incredibly strong and striking colour palette that he uses and his unrivalled knowledge of these colours.  This painting does not disappoint.
