The deliberate and confident brush strokes of renowned Irish artist Kaye Maahs.

High Tide, Doolin, is exactly as it says. The crashing of a large wave, as it rams into the coastline, sending sea spray high up into the air, beautifully depicted in oils by Maahs. Her handling of oils is nothing short of magical; pulling together light, shade, shape and form in a clever and seemingly subtle way and produces such a brilliant impact

Kaye is an award-winning artist, who is regularly invited to take part in the RHA Annual Exhibition. Having received many bursaries and residencies, and exhibited many times, nationally and internationally, Maahs has spent many years honing her craft, to become one of Ireland’s more interesting contemporary artists. Kaye has work hanging in private collections in Ireland and around the world.

Your Shipping Choices Explained

NOTE: Due to Covid 19 areas are experiencing delays and some restrictions on deliveries – please enquire directly with us if you are concerned.

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination.  This option would be at your own risk.

We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)

Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged.  For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
