This piece, number III, is part of a new, six piece, ‘Garden of Remembrance’ Collection of mixed media originals by contemporary artist, author and educator, Carmel Madigan. Such an intriguing collection,  with Carmel’s usual mixture of textures and materials, Carmel achieves an almost three dimensional feel to her pieces. The teals, deep greens and sometimes corals of this collection are captivating and make each small piece feel very impactful indeed. Each piece in this six piece collection, draws on the wistful, the beautiful, and maybe even the emotional, feelings imbued by a Garden of Remembrance, as well as the various visual and textural elements that one might expect to find.

Carmel is an artist, author, educator, nature lover and marine biologist. Her knowledge and love of nature makes for the most amazing backdrop for all of her artworks. Carmel’s work features in private collections around the globe and indeed in public collections in Ireland. Superb.
