Artists Statement:
“When the world paused during the first weeks April, the sun shone in an eerily abandoned Kilkee. The unmanicured green areas of the town came alive with an abundance of early flowering dandelions and daisies. The morning light shone through the dandelion seed heads. It was a joy to sketch the Bandstand sitting in the middle of this unexpected wilderness before the wind blew it all away”.
