We really love Ian Carty’s ceramic vases.
Having a bronze foundry on site, we are often surrounded by used crucibles (crucibles are the large vessels from which the molten bronze is poured during the casting process) and each time a crucible is finished with, the outside of them become coated with many bubbling layers of molten metal, leaving a texture and colour palette very, very similar to Ian’s ceramic work. This is what we think of every time we see Ian’s vases. Of course, outside of this reason, they are just very beautiful pieces of ceramic art-work to have in your home or office. These pieces make a fabulous gift – either to yourself or someone special!
Your shipping choice explained.
For uninsured shipping, (or shipping insured to the value of €100) we use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination. Please note that this option would be at your own risk.
However, as we are aware, accidents can happen and so, taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an Art Handler, then this can be arranged.
For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices range from €65 – all the way up to €335 (location dependent)
For paintings or items falling outside of those dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it.
