Ruth Wood is one of Clare’s most established and celebrated artists. Perhaps best known for her striking pen & ink and watercolour paintings of buildings and landscapes. This is a gorgeous and delicate depiction of the post office and Dolphin Watch buildings, in Carrigaholt village, on the Loop Head Peninsula. It is super meaningful to this artist, as one of her favourite villages, where both the people and the place have left an indelible mark on her heart.
