Framed Original Pen, Ink & Watercolour

Ruth is so widely known in the West of Ireland for her intricately detailed and beautifully depicted pen & ink & watercolour paintings of local scenes and this stunning and very recognisable scene of local boats moored at the pier in the fishing village of Carrigaholt in Co. Clare, is going to be particularly sought after. The boats are well known and the inclusion of the famous Carrigaholt Castle in the background really truly helps to root the image in the locality.
This is an original work.

Ruths original work is very collectable and is already becoming somewhat archival as buildings and landscapes have changed and been altered during the course of her work, thus highlighting the importance of her sketches and paintings.

Your shipping choice explained.

For uninsured shipping, (or shipping insured to the value of €100) we use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination. Please note that this option would be at your own risk.

However, as we are aware, accidents can happen and so, taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an Art Handler, then this can be arranged.

For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (location dependent)

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
