McCaul can truly do no wrong. A beautiful composition, with his signature ‘nod’ to the vernacular architecture of the West of Ireland, the cottage style that features quite frequently in his work and of course his striking use of colour.  Padraig always manages to create paintings, that although may simplistic in subject matter at first glance, actually jump off the walls in terms of composition and an extremely competent use of colour and brush strokes.
