The deliberate and confident brush strokes of renowned Irish artist Kaye Maahs.
The Bridges of Ross are a stunning, naturally occurring, geological phenomenon, proving that mother nature is the true creator on this earth – this famous landmark on the Loop Head Peninsula is depicted beautifully in this small but beautifully formed oil on canvas painting.
Kaye’s handling of oils is nothing short of magical; pulling together light, shade, shape and form in a clever and subtle way and yet produces such a brilliant impact
Kaye is an award-winning artist, who is regularly invited to take part in the RHA Annual Exhibition. Having received many bursaries and residencies, and exhibited many times, nationally and internationally, Maahs has spent many years honing her craft, to become one of Ireland’s more interesting contemporary artists. Kaye has work hanging in private collections in Ireland and around the world.
