Breaching Bronze Whale II

10.5″(26cm) tall when breaching – 8.5″(22cm) in side profile (or depth) and 9.5″(24cm) from fin to fin.

This is marked number 2 of 3 from a new edition of Breaching Bronze Whales by this incredible artist.

Outside of being a beautiful, elegant and very eye-catching piece of art, this bronze whale by artist Adil Vezir, is also, technically, rather astounding.  A feat of clever sculpting, this sold bronze whale perfectly balances in his breaching position.  He is also perfectly detailed anatomically. Adil has carefully layered varying depths of colour onto this bronze whale until he was happy that the overall patina did it justice – he also included visible textured bumps as a nod to the droplets of water pooling on his body mid breach. Adil lovers would be extremely proud to display this sculpture.
