Bluebells, Vandeleur Woods – is exactly that; a gorgeous pen and ink and watercolour original drawing of bluebells in the Vandeleur Woods in Kilrush, Co. Clare. The woods are part of what would have been the Vandeleur Estate – and now houses the famous Vandeleur Walled Gardens. A truly beautiful peice of art.

“This series of paintings are based on the small communities on the loop head peninsula. It’s easy to miss the subtle views that define the visual aesthetic of this area. Capturing the following scenes was a pleasant creative project. The bends on the road into Cross Village, a lone cow framed by an overgrown ditch near Rahona, the handball Alley at Quirren Pier and the village of Kilbaha have been the inspiration for this series of watercolour, pen and ink paintings”
