Framed Original Art –  Behind Glass (requires discussion before shipping)

This is one of my favourite styles of the inimitable Carmel Madigan. Her depiction, through layered acrylic, of hedgerows and in particular the wildflowers that adorn them during the summer, is simply magnificent. It immediately brings you back to country walks, meadows, laneways and the very beautiful, wild plants and flowers that are scattered across the hedges and fields of West Clare. Fantastically colourful and refreshingly contemporary, this is a magnificent piece to own.

Carmel’s work has been purchased by countless corporations, private collections, Government Departments and international customers.  Carmel is recognised by the Education Board and the Marine Institute for her work with schools and indeed with teachers as an expert of our shorelines; something she is constantly referencing in her contemporary artwork. Carmel T Madigan is a very collectable artist.

Your shipping choice explained.

For uninsured shipping, (or shipping insured to the value of €100) we use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination. Please note that this option would be at your own risk.

However, as we are aware, accidents can happen and so, taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an Art Handler, then this can be arranged.

For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (location dependent)

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
