Are you looking at me? – the famous West of Ireland black face sheep – as painted here by Padraig McCaul. The tone of this painting is soothing and calm, and the colour palette warm and inviting.

Beautiful, rich colours; simple and hugely effective compositions and the most gorgeous of artistic touches – Padraig McCaul manages to tug on the heart strings with his evocative, West of Ireland oil paintings.

Padraig McCaul’s striking art work has the ability to complement any art collection and indeed has already earned its place in the collections of many discerning art buyers across the country and beyond. Like all his original pieces, this McCaul colour palette jumps out at you on any given wall space.

Very collectable.

‘’But it’s the west of Ireland landscapes in particular that I’m drawn to. To me they are what Ireland is all about, and there is an energy and a sense of timelessness in them that I try to get across in my paintings”, Padraig McCaul.

Your Shipping Choices Explained

NOTE: Due to Covid 19 areas are experiencing delays and some restrictions on deliveries – please enquire directly with us if you are concerned.

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination.  This option would be at your own risk.

We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)

Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged.  For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
