Aperture #6
by Adam Pomeroy

10"(25cm) x 8"(20cm)

10″(25cm) x 8″(20cm) – unframed canvas

In photography terms, the Aperture is the gap or space on a lens that controls the amount of light you are allowing to pass through, while taking an image. Taking that same premise, (around the control of light and the resulting image), contemporary artist, Adam Pomeroy, brought ‘Aperture’ to the canvas, creating the gap with oils, and controlling not just the light but the focus on the subject matter beyond, resulting in this gorgeous edition of small originals. Aptly titled ‘Aperture’, each piece is numbered and signed by the artist.

A superb opportunity to own an Adam Pomeroy original – and at such a great price point too! Adam has work in public and private collections. He also has a series of larger-than-life biblical themed, paintings hanging in Cathedrals around Ireland. Adam’s work is known for its collectability and investment potential.

Your Shipping Choices Explained

NOTE: Due to Covid 19 areas are experiencing delays and some restrictions on deliveries – please enquire directly with us if you are concerned.

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination.  This option would be at your own risk.

We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)

Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged.  For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
