Absolutely LOVE the visual impact of this painting – Turquoise Skies I. It is one of a pair of pieces that complement one another.

Danny Vincent Smith is renowned for his bright and vivid colours and these two paintings –  (Turquoise Skies I and Turquoise Skies II) are a magnificent example of such striking and fabulously impactful pieces, with lots of variations of teals, blues and greens – and flecks of colour in the growth in the foreground.

Danny’s bold and confident work, is a style we have fallen head over heels, in love with, here in the Gallery.  Smith works mainly in acrylics, and often on board – as he has done here – which lends itself to the confident, creative brush strokes. paint lines and layering that you can see on his work.
