Celebrating the timeless work of artist Vincent Killowry

Vincent Killowry is arguably one of the finest artists of our time; not just because of his technical proficiency, but because of his growing artistic legacy.

With an engineering background, this professional Irish artist of note, works slowly and methodically, with a marvellous eye for detail. He takes, what he calls himself, an academic approach to how he handles each piece; the fine detail, the technical accuracy, the importance of handling light so very carefully, the varying colour palettes that take much time to perfect and so on. It is achieving this level of accuracy that brings him joy.

Owning a piece of original art by Vincent is a pleasure, because the more you study it, the more of this skill you will see! 

But he is also a ‘significant’ name to add to your collection,  because not only is he the artist behind the famous An Post Heritage Stamps range (Special Editions), including the highly acclaimed An Post Titanic Stamp, the Lusitania memorial stamp and indeed the Volvo Ocean Race stamp set – but he is also the artist behind the now famous large-scale ‘History of Flight’ murals in Foynes Co Limerick, – not to mention the many engineering illustrations of his that have featured in various publications over the years.  

This marvellous legacy is what makes Vincent’s original works rather collectable indeed –
