This is a posthumous showing of work by since deceased artist of the 1930’s, Ursula Kelleher, on behalf of her estate.
Ursula Kelleher was a lady in every sense of the word. She was also incredibly talented as an artist. At the time (in or around the 1930’s) traditionally, the work of a sculptor was seen as a male occupation, but many women defied this, and they trained and pursued careers as sculptresses during that time. Ursula, in her own quiet way, created many beautiful pieces of art in ceramic.
Posthumously, her family have had some of these beautiful pieces cast into bronze.
