Inspired by the ancient wisdom of the seven chakras, Ruth Wood’s most recent series explores the connection between colour, energy and emotional wellbeing. Best known for her beautifully observed drawings and paintings of West Clare and Irish rural life, Ruth brings the same sensitivity to these particularly contemporary works, using gentle layers of colour to represent each of the body’s seven energy centres. Rather than creating literal interpretations, she invites the viewer to experience each painting intuitively—encouraging moments of reflection, balance and inner calm. Together, the seven works form a visual journey through energy, healing and self-discovery. These paintings are sold together as an installation for your home or workspace priced at €900 in total.

Crown Chakra (Sahasrara): Located at the top of the head, it represents spiritual connection and enlightenment.
