A contemporary take on what was the traditional Irish fishing boat on the West of Ireland.  Clodagh Redden, a celebrated sculptor, has become truly, very well known for her contemporary currach boats – both in ceramic and in bronze.
Although often paired with artistic and stylized bronze figures, she has recently created this gorgeous single boat, cast in bronze and on a stand. It is extraordinary! Her boats are unique pieces, each with individual markings and designs.

Clodagh’s work is highly sought after both internationally and here at home (having famously found a home in the White House).
