A gorgeous original oil painting by the artist ‘D’ – this time, of the clever Oyster Catcher at work on the beaches of West Clare. Distinctive in appearance by their black and white bodies and long orange beaks, the oyster catchers are a fairly regular sighting in the West of Ireland. But this artist also captures here in oils, with superb accuracy it must be said, the perfect colour, movement and depth of that incoming tide. Beautiful piece of work.
