Famous for her, rather incredible, still life paintings, Diana Marshall has blown us away with this latest collection. As always, her expert handling of light and shade, her beautiful choice of colours and her talent for breathing life into the most inanimate of objects through her careful and detailed depiction of them, is exemplary.

‘Up and Down’ is a striking coupling of copper teapot and oil lamp, painted against a dark black background. The golden shine on the copper, contrasting with the blackness behind it is striking. In fact, placed carefully within a white frame, this is a really impactful piece of art.

Diana Marshall has a gorgeous back catalogue of work, has exhibited the length and breadth of Ireland over the years and boasts a loyal fanbase of collectors who admire the fine art detailing that goes into creating something as special and expertly painted as a fine art still life. NOTE: Due to Covid 19 areas are experiencing delays and some restrictions on deliveries – please enquire directly with us if you are concerned. 

We generally use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces professionally to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination.  This option would be at your own risk.

We can also offer you our own cargo insurance at a reasonable price – weight and piece dependent. Please enquire with us for this option. (This will also be packed by us and carried by An Post as above)

Taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an outside Art Handler, then this can be arranged.  For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices with an insured professional courier, range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (size and location dependent) NOTE: This option will take considerably longer as we will have to outsource it and get quotes for you before we proceed.

For paintings or items falling outside of those largest dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it and a further cost will apply.
