This image is from Series 1 – it is image number 9 and is one of an extremely limited edition (number 1 of 10)

Locked Box is a fine art photographer who is nameless, ageless and genderless. Residing and working in Ireland the photographer is currently involved in exploring the landscape and creating visual impressions that generate more questions than answers. The work is produced in camera with minimal clean edits and does not resort to the use of layers or excessive image manipulation software. These pieces are really rather stunning when up close and personal – and make for very striking wall art indeed.

The work is influenced from the secessionists Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Steichen. The Pictorialism of Julia Margaret Cameron is a foil reference to the over edited, lemming-like landscape art photography where practitioners queue up to take the same scene with only minimal artistic interpretation in the field and maximum influence from image editing software.

Your shipping choice explained.

For uninsured shipping, (or shipping insured to the value of €100) we use the postal service here in Ireland, called An Post. It is very reliable and we take the utmost care in packing all our pieces to ensure that have the very best chance of arriving safely in their destination. Please note that this option would be at your own risk.

However, as we are aware, accidents can happen and so, taking into account the delicate nature and cost of your purchase, if you would prefer it travel in a specialized and insured Art Box with an Art Handler, then this can be arranged.

For paintings up to and including the size 120cm x 100 cm – prices range from €75 – all the way up to €475 (location dependent)

For paintings or items falling outside of those dimensions then a further discussion is required – as it may need to have a bespoke crate to be built for it.
